1995 by the current owner and President, Dewey Wood. Dewey
has 38 years of experience in the field of electronic contracting.
Those years of valuable experience spent here in Northeast Louisiana
have established Dewey Wood's name as a trusted name in electronics.
Wood Electronics, Inc. is licensed by the
State of Louisiana Fire Marshall's Office to perform all design, installation
and service of fire alarm systems. All technicians employed by Wood
Electronics are licensed by the state of Louisiana. The company
also holds a State Contractors License, which is required on all projects
that exceed $50,000.
Wood Electronics, Inc. is an authorized dealer of fire
alarm monitoring through Centurytel.

Along with his State Certification,
Dewey Wood holds the grade of Engineering Technician in
Fire Protection Engineering Technology of Fire Alarm Systems,
a level conferred by the NICET guidelines. NICET is a nationally
recognized society charged with the duty of providing independent
third party testing of individuals in specific areas. |

for installation in all areas of the industry. The association
is not only recognized throughout the US but also worldwide.

boasts the honor of having owner, Dewey Wood, as past
president of the LAFAA. Membership in the LAFAA also
entitles membership in the National Automatic Fire Alarm Association.
